When I hear the words "beat generation," I think of a group of people who lived in a time where pop/rock/poprock (or any other kind of smooth, rhythmic-type) music was prominent, such as the seventies or even today, or something. Everyone can relate to some type of music, and these people especially so. These people seem relaxed too and like to take things easy, one step at a time.
