Hello All!
I hope you are enjoying your holiday break! I'm not sure if any of you will be reading this at all during our time off, but I got to thinking about our next book choice. I've been trying to teach Revolutionary Road for a LONG time at MHS. It is a great novel about the breakdown of 1950's America, and could be a GREAT companion to OTR. Is anyone interested in reading this one? Maybe then we can go and see the film? Do some research and let me know! We would probably have to go out and buy the books- or you could give me money and I will buy them at a 20% discount.

Hi! I researched Revolutionary Road, and it definitely fits in with the theme. According to reviews, it sounds like a great book. Also, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in the movie, it seems like a well-made film. I would be very interested in reading the novel and then seeing the movie!
Yea it seems good...there was also something on HBO the other day about the making of the movie, and how the actors found the book to be a bit better than the movie
Hope everyone's breaks are going well! Yeah, RR sounds good, I really like reading about this decade in America. I think the movie is supposed to be really good too. Looking forward to it.
It sounds like a plan. The book got good reviews, it looks interesting; why not? I think the movie will be great because Leonardo DiCaprio is great.
Sure.
I don't mind reading the book, it seems pretty interesting.
Im game
Sounds good.
It's fine with me.
I think it's a nice idea. The timing of the movie coming out is great.
